Who we are
Marketeir is a marketing and software development agency based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, operating at marketeir.com and its subdomains. In this policy “Marketeir”, “we” and “us” mean Marketeir, and “you” means anyone whose personal information we handle — people who contact us or submit a form, our clients, and our staff.
We are responsible for the personal information described here. The same policy covers our website, our internal customer management system at crm.marketeir.com (the “CRM”), our agreement signing service at agreement.marketeir.com, and our website builder at websitebuilder.marketeir.com.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you and to provide our services.
- Contact details you give us — your name, phone number, email address, business name, and links to your Facebook or Instagram pages.
- What you tell us about your business — for example whether it is new or running, how you source products, whether you have a website or shop, your past advertising results, when you want to launch and your budget. Our staff record this when they speak to you.
- Records of our conversations — notes from calls and meetings, meeting times, and the stage your enquiry has reached.
- Agreement details — if you sign an agreement with us, the terms, your name, and the signature you draw or upload.
- Website builder details — the business name, colours and logo you enter to preview a design, and the contact details you send if you ask us to build it.
- Technical data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request, kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. Our website does not use advertising cookies.
Information from Meta lead ads
When you fill in a lead form on one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta Platforms, Inc. sends us the answers you submitted. Our CRM receives them through Meta’s official API. This includes the fields on that form — typically your name, phone number and email address, plus any questions the form asked — together with the form, ad and campaign the lead came from and the time you submitted it.
We use this only to contact you about the enquiry you made. After our staff speak with you we may tell Meta whether the enquiry was a good fit, which helps us show our ads to people who are more likely to need our services. We do not use lead form data for any other purpose, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with other advertisers.
Our use of data received from Meta follows the Meta Platform Terms.
Information from Google services
Our staff may connect their Google account to the CRM. This is used for two things only:
- Signing in — we receive the email address of the Google account used, and use it only to recognise a member of staff. We do not receive or store Google passwords.
- Booking meetings — a sales team member who connects their Google Calendar lets the CRM see when they are busy, so meetings are only offered at free times, and create the meeting on their calendar with a Google Meet link. The CRM sees busy and free times only, not the content of other events.
Marketeir’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models, and humans at Marketeir do not read it except with the account holder’s permission, for security, or where the law requires.
A staff member can disconnect their calendar at any time from the CRM, or remove Marketeir’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry by phone, WhatsApp, email or video call.
- To understand your business so we can recommend the right service.
- To arrange and hold meetings with our team.
- To prepare, sign and keep records of agreements with clients.
- To deliver the services you have engaged us for, and to invoice for them.
- To improve who our advertising reaches, as described above.
- To keep our systems secure and to meet legal obligations.
We rely on your request to contact us, on the contract between us once you become a client, and on our legitimate interest in running our business safely.
Storage and security
Our records are stored with the providers above, which may keep data on servers outside Bangladesh. Connections to our services are encrypted. Access to the CRM requires a password or a personal access code, staff access codes are stored only in scrambled form, and access tokens for Meta and Google are kept on our servers and never sent to web browsers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit who can see it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients — up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Client records and signed agreements — for as long as you are a client and for 6 years afterwards, for accounting and legal purposes.
- Staff Google connections — until the staff member disconnects them or leaves Marketeir.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. You can also ask us to stop using your information to improve our advertising. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep a signed agreement where the law requires us to.
Deleting your data
To have your information removed — including anything we received from a Facebook or Instagram lead form, or through Google — contact us using any method below and tell us the name and phone number or email address you used.
- Email marketeir@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”, or message us on WhatsApp at +880 1766-006895.
- We will delete your contact record, call notes and enquiry history from the CRM within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
You can also remove Marketeir’s access from your own accounts at any time: on Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, and on Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted here.
